Based on the advice of one live-aboard member, I contacted
www.Pbtservice.com <http://www.pbtservice.com/> and got a super price on a
dual Racor configuration - the 75-500-MAX2. It was just over $500.
Everyone else quotes prices ranging from $750 to $950 - I've been
researching this issue for months and this was a no-brainer decision.
Thanks to everyone for their feedback and suggestions, including the
installation strategy from Norm. While my mechanical aptitude and abilities
are developing and maturing rapidly (given all the regular practice that is
part of boating), this seemed like this best solution for me at present
rather than configuring two individual Racor units in parallel.
