Hahahahahaha! Yeah, I used to hear 'em on the vhf.
My favorites were the guy on his brand new 45'
sailboat who fell asleep and ran into rocks off of
Scituate, MA, and the guy who put his whole family
into a small motor boat, set out to sea, and ran out
of gas several miles off the coast.
I think boating, like driving, is one of those
activities that sorts out the reality challenged among
us.
And for the terminally law abiding among us, remember
one thing: The laws made up by our beloved
politicians are always superceded by the laws of
physics.
