Note book software is a religioius issue. We've only used Nobeltech and
were happy.
What's a must are the charts you use. We found the Maptech charts for
the US very good and for the Bahamas the Explorer Charts are the only
ones to use. Explorer charts have been created by people cruising the
Bahamas and a continuously updated. We found we could drive through
narrow cuts and thin water quite comfortably with them.
We always had the paper versions out for the big picture.
