ZoneAlarm is an ok product but can give you fits when you try to uninstall
it.
(google "zonealarm uninstall" to see the number of problems)
I switched to Sygate Personal Firewall, less publicized, but works well for
me.

Zone Alarm is an excellent product. Easy to use, and fairly easy to
setup. It's more than likely that Your Windows firewall interacted with Zone
alarm and tried to prevent it from running. I'd uninstall SP2 if you've got
it running before Attempting to run Zone alarm.
