lv-ab: cabin heaters

    Hi,

There has been some info about this, but now that I'm
seriously looking for a heater for my 34' Columbia
    sailboat, I'm finding confusion... help!!!

The best heater looks like Espar D5LC, but when I
called a distributor in Rhode Island, I *think* he
told me they cost $4200 or thereabouts.

For $4200 I can rub a lot of sticks together.

There are other diesel or kerosene or propane heaters
for boats that are much lower priced than the Espar,
if in fact that is an accurate price. I'll find out
more this weekend when I visit the dealer in RI.

What do you recommend for keeping a small cabin warm
during January etc. in New Hampshire?

Boat will have a shrink wrap top on to help keep the
    cold out.

    Thanks!
    Dick
