Well Bill and I sailed across the Atlantic on a Nauticat 36 this June and Mike and I are sailing across on a Cape Dory 33 next May. We're not delivery captains (at least I'm not) but we enjoy a good sail.

You want her delivered from where to where?

A good place to look for a delivery captain and crew is the Seven Seas Cruising Association. Go to Discussion Board, Crew Exchange. http://ssca.org/index.shtml There is lots of seasoned crew available.

I am trying to get a comparison for getting my 44 foot Norseman sailboat
to Europe. (from the east coast)

I checked into the delivery by means of the big freighter, and that would
set me back about 14.000,- Which is way to high. Since I still need to add
about 6000 to get the vessel from the west coast to the east coast by
means of a truck. Making it a very expensive proposition to get the vessel
    to Europe.

Does anybody know where to look for reliable delivery captains? And their
    associated costs?

    Thanks,

    Hank.
