I have a 34 foot catamaran and have an outboard motor. I plan to
put a 10 gallon plastic gas tank in one of the cockpit lockers.
There is no access to the interior of the boat from this locker,
just the locker lid opening to the cockpit. My question is:
should I have drain holes to go overboard within this locker.
If there is a fuel leak, I don't want gas spilling into the bay
(Chesapeake) but I don't want water collecting in the locker
either. I think I will have to add vents to the outside from the
locker (easy to do). Does anyone know of the proper way to do
this tank in the locker?
Thanks,
Brad
