For Canadians travelling south, I highly recommend Bell Mobility's "Digital
North America Plan". All calls are billed as local calls and there are no
roaming charges. We also used our cel-phone with our lap-top to do e-mail.
Once in the Bahamas though, we lost the data communication but the phone
worked fine. Just remember, in the Bahamas you're into international calls.
