    I have been using a Trace 2.5KW sine wave inverter for years and can 
    recommend it.
    Be aware, the terms "modified sine wave" and "pure sine wave" are commercial 
    lies to make you think the product is more valuable than it is.
    "Modified sine wave" is in reality a square wave.  
    "Pure sine wave" actually looks like a Myan temple, a stepped waveshape that 
    approximates a sine wave.  The number of steps varies with the load.
