    Dear No Name at ,
It never hurts my feelings to respond to stupid posts...and there have been
more than one on this subject.

There is no law to insure boats. There is no law to insure boats.

I follow the law to insure my vehicles and would insure them if there was no
law, because of the risk. My risks are low on the water and I choose to
self insure. I would always take responsibility and pay for the damage I
    caused.

When I chose to stay at a marina in Jacksonville that required liability
    insurance, I furnished it...My choice.

Any problem with that? Please don't give me the mega-million dollar boat
damage scenario...you don't know who I am or what I have, and you never
    will.

To those or you who are trying to force your "opinion" and your philosophy
on the rest of us....stop it, won't work....you are showing your ignorance
and your true nature. If you feel the need to protect yourself, then buy
the insurance, the gun and the alarm and stop trying to denounce people
exercising their personal freedom and living within the laws.
