Those interested in moving a boat to / from Europe can use one of the
    increasingly popular transport services.

For one, check out www.dockwise.com for Dockwise Yacht Transport.

     From their website:
Many owners of motor and sailing yachts prefer a safe seat for their
vessels on a Dockwise yacht carrier, for crossing vast ocean stretches
    beyond their normal cruising range.

Five dedicated yacht carriers, Super Servant 3, Super Servant 4, Dock
Express 11, Dock Express 12 and the Explorer, will safely transport
your yacht across the oceans, arriving on time and in tip-top
    condition.

For inquiries and sailing schedule please contact one of our booking
offices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA or Cote d'Azur, France or
Breda, The Netherlands or visit the website of Dockwise Yacht
Transport, our dedicated yacht transport service.

Their web site shows a picture of a large ship with 13 large power and
sail vessels on its deck. I have never used the company and have no
financial interests, but find the thought of getting our 35 foot boat
to the Med for around $5K to be interesting.
