Time for a bit of math
    1. RF only uses the surface of a conductor and is therefore dependent
only on the surface area of the conductor
    2. The surface area of a unit length of wire is "pie" x D or 3.14 * wire
    diameter
    3. The surface area of a unit length of strap is (2x(width+thickness))
    4. Assume that you use a 2 inch strap of 22 guage .. you can ignore the
contribution of the thickness but for a 1 inch length you have 2x2 or 4
    square inches of surface area
    5. To get 4 square inches of surface area with a wire of unit length you
    need a wire with a diameter of D=4/3.14 or 1.27 inches ....
Now what guage wire would that be??
