Dynaplates are a rip-off. They provide no more grounding than a piece of
flat metal the same size. No matter how much surface you have in contact
with the water, all the current still has to pass through the salt water
cross-section of the outside dimensions of the plate.
They will provide some grounding but typically inadequate for SSB ground
plane.
