We have 2 live aboard cats .. one discovered the way to get wet and
will never do so again. I used a long handled fish net to retreive her
from her adventure. Harnessess don't work .. Our adventure cat in a
harness with a leash attached to our boat decided to jump boats ...she
managed to reach the other boat's toe rail (at the taut end of the
leash) with her claws and very quickly squirmed free of the harness...
Houdini would have been impressed ... she was having dinner with another
family 3 boats away when we finally caught up with her. Dogs need
special care .. cats don't... that's why they were given 9 lives.
