We had the front fixed windows on the 'pilothouse' of our Gulfstar
Sailmaster 47 replaced at a boatyard when we got the boat. They were
formed (in only two dimensions I believe) by using the old windows as a
template, and the results were good.

I've since replaced the windows on three overhead hatches myself, again
using the old windows as templates. If you're on the West coast, TAP
plastics (www.tapplastics.com) is a good (and relatively inexpensive,
compared to boatyards and manufacturers) source for information,
    materials, and fabrication.
