Page 4 of their Application asks a number of underwriting questions.
Number 2. is "Are any of the watercraft listed used as a primary
residence?" Each of the questions asks you to initial the "yes" or "no"
questions, and any "yes" answer disqualifies you from their coverage.
Therefore it would seem that if you own or rent another residence where
you get your mail, that's your legal residence for voting, and/or for
your Drivers License, you might be alright with their policy, such as it
is. The part that bothers me is their language, i.e. "...used as A
primary residence" (not "...YOUR primary residence"). Can you have more
than one?
I prefer to settle those issues by staying away, not in a court of
law....
