    Jim,

    While I don't know where you are, I'm sure there are inflatable boat repair
    places that service your area. They usually sell the lifting rings. As
    someone else pointed out, the pads holding the d-rings should be fairly
    large (mine are about 5" in diameter) to give you enough strength in the
    glued area.

    One source is Inflatable Boat Repair (http://www.airboatfix.com) located
    just outside of Philadelphia. They service the Philly/Balt/NY/NJ area and
    have the ring sets.

    If they're not convenient to you I've got to believe there's someone similar
    servicing inflatables in your neighborhood.
