Tim, it doesn't filter out salt. Only an RO filter will do that. There are
some undercounter tank type RO filters at about $125 but they can't hadle
more than about 1% of the salt content in seawater. They are only designed
for use with pure(?) fresh city water, and even they have a separate
chlorine filter since chlorine can damage the RO membrane.
