Be aware that these terms are both commercial lies.
"Modified Sine Wave" is actually a square wave.
"True Sine Wave" actually has a wave shape like a Myan Temple, that is,
stepped. The steps are many, but vary with the load, and produce excellent
results at high efficiencies.
I also recommend you stay away from the old square wave units.
