    It all depends on how serious a problem an inaccurate gauge can create.
    If the gauge tells you that you still have a 10% reserve but you suddenly find
    the tank completely empty is it a nuisance or a major problem?

    The answer is different for each person and what may seem like a great bargain
    at $45 by you. may be seen as a major problem in the making for someone else.
