I originally avoided Fisher because they seemed a bit overpriced. In
checking the web now I found one person's experience:
    http://www.geoffschultz.org/2003_Sailing/Reports/Belize_FP.html
    and
    http://www.geoffschultz.org/2003_Sailing/Reports/BlueJacket_Work.html
    Makes you wonder.

I am wide open to any suggestions, including alternatives to
120V gensets. Just remember shes a real small boat.
    Check out the Fischer Panda.

    It is extremely quiet.

However, it gets it's quietness by totally enclosing the unit and cooling
the generator end with seawater. I don't like the idea of cooling an
aluminum block with seawater. I believe the seawater will corrode the
aluminum, building a layer of corrosion that reduces heat flow. If Panda or
yourself could cool the generator end with an anticorrosive fluid they would
    have something.
