Wow - thanks to everyone for your excellent and informative postings. We
are going to digest them all and ponder - and possibly come back with more
questions.
On a lighter note - on our own (GRP) boat, after a years refurb and six
months living aboard - on Tuesday we finally left the dock for the fourth
time in 2003! This was fantastic - and on Saturday we are setting off for
our first proper trip though in fact London is pretty close to here, and for
a Brit not very exotic!
So we are very excited and chuffed - and willing to give advice on all the
things not to do learnt the hard way - most importantly replacing lights and
windows, our biggest cause of delay.
