I got in an argument with a man at Spanish Wells, Eleuthera. He had
populated the entire anchorage with moorings and then said that I could not anchor
there. I had found a spot where I did not interfere with his moorings. This
year I think I will stop at the police station and show them my cruising permit
giving "Use of Bahamian Waters" and ask them to tell this guy to stop bothering
    me.

I don't know the law in the Bahamas, but I have a copy of a letter from the
Coast Guard to the city of Key West saying they could have a mooring field but
people could anchor freely within that mooring field.
