Hi, all. I'm just about to make the move to become a real liveaboard.
    I'm beginning to make offers.

My first boat to consider is a Morgan 426, but my broker tells me because
it draws 6 feet, I have to have it delivered by a delivery Capt.. because it
    can't be shipped by truck.

The boat is in St. Pete and needs to go to the northern Chesapeake. Any
body have any idea how long a delivery captain would take to sail that far
and how much it would cost? Also anyone know of a good surveyor in Tampa
area they can recommend. Someone who will not only point out what needs to
be done, but give some advice on how to do it.

Getting back to the main question. How can I get this boat to the
Chesapeake and how much will it cost. Also when does the delivery season
    begin?

      Thanks
      Bill Wright
