    A definite maybe but what is certain is it will be expensive.

    Very basic game plan is in place to eliminate halon.

    Increase the replacement cost as required to eliminate demand.

    10 years ago, I did some work on North Slope oil platforms that used
    halon as a fire suppression system since there was nothing else
    available.

    Was advised by oil company engineer that if they had to use that halon,
    they faced a $500,000.00 fine which they expected to climb to
    $1,000,000.00 within 5 years.

    Oil company was desperately searching for an alternate fire suppression
    system.

    Have been out of that business for years. Have no idea of current status.
