I have verizon mobile office kit, (Connects to laptop) but pay no extra. I
use my own e.mail server for incoming mail, so Verizon does not issue me an
e.mail address. The phone dials #777. For sending e.mail, I was using
"Airtouch" which was a Verizon internal server, as my server has e.mail
relay blocked. Service is slow as snakeslime daytimes, (like the phone
battery doesn't last long enough to get 100 e.mails) but, not too bad at
2AM. Minutes used are same as voice for free times, Cingular, however,
allows NO free minutes while using their server. With Cingular, you could
dial your own internet provider during free times, and they wouldn't know it
was different from voice, but, their service area coverage on the east coast
is possibly 25%, Verizon is 98%. If you need all the settings for
connecting to Verizon, e.mail me directly.
