I have the (similar to MD 2B) MD 11 C, and once lost the oil pressure
due to the pump that looses its prime.
It cost me a major refit, but i learn the lesson:
The screen that goes the oil check stick MUST BE WELL TIGHT AND PROPERLY
SEALED
