I have just purchased a small 8 ft RIB and I am looking for a outboard. I would like to ask the list how many HP everyone think I should go for. I would like to plane with 2 people but not overpower it , weight is a concern. What brands are you all using. I looked at a Evinrude 4 HP but it looked a bit old and was expensive.
