This message had me LOL. A couple of years ago one of my fellow
motorcycle riders put this stuff on his motorcycle lenses. Having just
done this, and anxious to show off his new find he was demonstrating how
very, very damage resistant this new film made his headlight lens by
tapping on it quite sharply with his forefinger while telling all who
were watching how his expensive headlight lens was no longer subject to
damage by road debris thrown up by other vehicles. We all rolled on the
ground crying our eyes out with laughter when his tapping shattered his
$300 headlight lens and it hung there in bits and pieces held together
    by his new safety film.

I hope it works better on your windows.

    Don

I recently saw a product made by 3M that is promoted to be applied to
glass windows to make them damage resistant. Its called 3M
Scotchshield Storm and Safety Window Film.
