Next message: craig poole: "Re: lv-ab: Non-skid deck protection"
I was asked yesterday if there was a product that could be applied to the
non-skid areas of the deck which would protect it from the UV rays. I
can't ever remember applying anything to those areas, but I told my
fellow sailor I would post the question to the group. I'm going to be
re-doing my non-skid (it's ablating), and another sailor told me he was
going to try a product called "Tuff Coat" on his decks. It contains small
rubber particles. It sounds attractive because it can just be re-applied
when worn, with little surface preparation.
Has anyone tried, or heard about "Tuff Coat"? Mike s/v Last Call
