My standard horizon has been going strong for five years, never a
glitch. A sample of one (or two) does not make a case study. From a
reliability viewpoint, a digital is much simpler, and in theory more
reliable than a fishfinder, although with modern electronics it's probably
a wash. So pick what you like, and what you can afford.
