    Hi All,

I have just received my new sails from my sailmaker.

    Question about the luff rope

I have a furler on the forestay. The old stormsail had 6 mm
diameter luff rope. Now the new genoa has 4 mm diameter luff
rope. It fits into the luff grove, the sail do not come out.
(I did not sailed the boat, jet.)
Is there a way, that I can decide, should I bring the sails back
to the sailmaker to replace the luff rope, or 4 mm is enoug?

    Question about the foam luff
I ordered the genoa with a foam luff. The sailmaker installed
ropes in a pocket apporx. 40 centimeters from the luff rope.
It seems to do the job, but do you thing it should be
some kind of foam instead of ropes?

    Fair winds
