Note - this is an old AOL address for the list because I'm currently getting
a lot of spam and I was afraid it would shut down my mailbox and cause
live-aboard bounces. That means I can't quote very well.

The existing gasket is probably a commercial extrusion.

What some people have done is take their gasket to some commercial rubber
place and see if they will duplicate it. We haven't done that, but Dave Covert
has, and it didn't appear to be exorbitantly expensive.
Also suggest you see if there is a Gulfstar organization which will have some
    sources.
