    Given the choice, I would rather have the LED inserts that are completely
    potted in resin. they are impervious to weather/salt water.
    I would even go as far as replacing the socket in the fixture to use the potted
    bayonet type bulbs.
    I think someone on this list manufactures at least one style of bulb.
