I wish I had the Bosch instead of the Paloma I have now.
"Standing" pilot light means nothing. Simply put a valve on the gas supply
to the heater, turn on the gas and light up the pilot light when you want to
use the waterheater, turn off the gas when you are finished with it.
I do it every day.
