After following this "bedding bases" thread for a few days now, I'm
curious that no one has mentioned their stantions were thru-bolted. I
have a Gulfstar 37' and such is the case. The nuts are not
accessible...even after removing the interior veneer. My only option, as
far as I know, is to re-caulk around the stantion base plate. Certainly
not the preferred method....am I missing somthing? Mike s/v Last Call
