I certainly hope to have something that can be marketed after this
project is completed. I put that goofy happy face thing after the
sentence about fame and fortune. Unless I'm totally mistaken, there's a
pretty limited audience for something like this and I can guarantee that
there will be no fame or fortune for anyone involved in this, including
myself. For those of you that are interested, I'll glad you send you
one of my music CDs in exchange for providing me with a picture that I
ultimately use! My music web site is www.docnicholas.com
<http://www.docnicholas.com/> . Hope that's an incentive of some sort.

My goal is to make something that is a wonderful description of life
aboard, along with some of the hardships and issues that any person who
is exploring this lifestyle choice should really know. So while I'm
sorry that this is a low budget shoot, and that there is no money in it
for people who elect to take a minute or two to send me a picture, I
hope that for the sheer enjoyment of being involved in something like
this, it might inspire a few of you to send me something. To Mike and
Rick, you guys are pro liveaboards, and I hope you decide that something
like this might be worthy of a contribution. But if not, totally cool.
Many of you have sent pics into living aboard and boating magazines for
years for the sheer enjoyment of being included in the publication.
This is pretty much the same thing, a labor of love with probably a
negative return. For the pics that I have already received, they are
AWESOME!!! And for those of you that want some money, maybe there'll be
a sequel after this is picked up by one of the majors :). I heard that
Columbia is looking for a feature release for the Xmas season :)

Finally, for the person who wrote asking me about the quality of the
project, among other things, I have been a professional sound and film
editor for many years and have worked on everything from feature
releases to documentaries. So I expect this to be a funny, thoughtful
and well put-together piece. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
