I did some looking around. I found the Toronto Island Marina and a
sailing club somewhere around the Leslie St. spit but both are dingy
boat clubs and I want keel boats.
I did run across a club in Scarborough, called Nautical Escapes, but I
decided against it because it isn't close to either home or work. I may
look at it next year since it is $400 less.
I do plan on buying a boat eventually. I would like to get one that I
can go cruising around the lakes on overnights with friends. Currently
I'm partial to the new C&C99 (32 foot long sloop made by Tanzer I
think). Unfortunately sailboats big enough to weekend in comfortably are
more expensive than houses.
