    If the above is truth then you have serious electrical problems unrelated to
    spotlights.

    If the above is not truth then you have serious problems in the ability to
    see and respect truth. This is even more serious than the electrical problems,
    for without the keen desire to know, and a serious respect for, what is
    really facing you both within and without your vessel you WILL have major, perhaps
    fatal, problems underway.

    I have both the rechargable type of spotlight and the plug-in type, both
    using 12 VDC inputs. We rarely use them because we rarely travel at night in
    inland waters so I cannot report on which one works best.
