Steve,
There is a chart book available which I think is the way to go
Maptech Chart kit Pacific Northwest Puget Sound to Vancouver.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada Chart 3313 which is for the Gulf Islands-again,
a chart book.
There is another chart book which I have put away (deep) which takes you
from Vancouver to Desolation Sound (number unknown).
There is another chart book of Desolation Sound, again, number unknown as it
is in deep storage.
North of Desolation Sound you pretty much have to stick to individual charts
as there are no chart books I know of.
We are from Portland and have been cruising up here since 1999 so if you
have any further questions, we may be able help.
