I am actively looking for a cruising sailboat to buy. I live in upstate New
York west of Albany which is not really fertile grounds for boats of this
type. While I would have no problem travelling to actually eyeball a
prospect, I must necessarily rely on the Internet to provide the appropriate
leads. I have used the various sites that offer search capabilities such as
yachtworld.com, I would like to find some other comprehensive sites that can
offer up ideas. What are your suggestions for search locations on the web?
Google helps but I don't seem to conjure up a good enough search string to
narrow down choices. I am interested in finding prospects along the east
coast of the US. Please note that I am inquiring about how to and where to
search NOT what to search for.
Any enlightenment will be appreciated.
TIA
Vic
