I needed a couple of small items for a project on board. We ordered $20
worth of small parts from a well-known boat chandler who does business
(national catalog) from CT. Had a nice suprise when they charged us $17
shipping and handling for items that would fit in a small box! Most of the
weight (less than 2 lbs.) was the catalog that they put in the order. When
we called them up to discuss this issue (twice) all we got was the brush
off. I overlooked a very important question when we ordered; how much does
the total bill come to..........After upteen boats and a lot of years, you
think I would get a little smarter.
On a positive note, I have been nothing short of very pleased with the
service and cost of products ordered from Sailnet.
