length of an arc is determined by: (arcdegrees/360) x (2 pi r)
to determine the radius, you'd have to take the perpendicular from each end
of the arc to the point where the two perpendiculars meet. that distance
is your radius, and you just plug it into the formula. problem is, i can't
recall how to get the perps.
