Has anyone on the list heard how the upcoming merger of BoatUS
and WM may change the insurance field. West Marine has been
trying to extend in that area, while Boat US has a strong presence
in the insuring of many of its members boats.
Any word on whether the merger will stop some of the
competition in that area too?
I have always been impressed that BoatUS seems to work
for boaters and would be surprised if the merger was going
to have a negative effect in that area, but thought I should ask.
