Sam,
The best I can do is tell you that at Oyster Bay they charge $8.50/sq.ft. (Length x Beam) so my bill for the winter is about $2800. Not cheap but the only restricted dates are you can't stay in the water past Dec. 15th and you can't go back in before April 1st to give the oyster beds time to rejuvenate. Also, that price includes haul out, pressure wash and unstepping the mast, storage, and 2 coats of good bottom paint, re-stepping the mast, splashed, and dock tuned.
You have the option of backing out the paint and associated labor and doing it yourself but I forget how much you save. I think his labor rate is about $65-$70/hr.

OK, just for grins....
I just hauled out for a bottom job. Not many choices around here,
really only one reputable marina that can handle the weight of my
vessel and has the depth to get in. So, I am paying a hefty price
for this work. Does look like they are doing a very good job though.
My question is...What have folks on the list paid for recent bottom
jobs? I am talking about the price for a basic bottom job, that is,
haul out, pressure wash, sand/strip, no blister work, paint with good
paint, and back in the water. I sure would like to compare to other
parts of the country/world...
Thanks,
Sam
