    Frank,

It's 3 race legs and a fishing tournament to Puerto Vallarta Mexico from
Marina del Rey. Details of race are on www.dryc.org. If anyone on the list
wants updates, I'll be emailing an update every day or two through SSB ham
frequencies. Send me your email and I'll add you to the list.

First race leg is Marina del Rey to Turtle Bay, then two nights of parties,
next race leg is to Point Lazaro, then watch whales spawn in Mag Bay, then
fishing tournament to Cabo San Lucas, home of world class tuna and marlin,
then two nights of parties in Cabo (not sutable for list description), then
third race leg to Puerto Vallarta, then four serious nights of partying and
    awards ceremonies.

I'll keep Stefan up to date on the race progress and he can send snippets to
the list. I can't subscribe to the list as I'm limited to 30 minutes SSB
frequency per day and don't want to deal with the volume. But adding a name
or two to the distribution of the progress reports is okay.

After we recupriate from the PV parties we'll go down to Barre Navidad and
come back up the coast visiting a good 10 to 15 spots that look similar or
better than Caribbean charters. Up to Island Isabela and then over to Cabo.
Re-provision and then strike out for Isla de Guadalupe, home of the largest
American population of Great White Sharks. Lots of cage diving there and of
course great sport fishing. Overnight, then a tack back into San Diego to
clear customs and up to Marina del Rey. Six weeks in all.

We'll have a crew of six for the race, four for the gunkholing and five for
the return. Hope to take lots of pictures and build some web pages as we
go, though I won't be able to post them until we get back.

Anyone that knows anything about Island of Guadalupe, please email me
offline. Would love to benefit from the experience of others regarding the
    island and the passage.

    Capt. Greg

I'm in favor of "flaming" Capt. Greg. I am really jealous. Where do you
    race from, to and what?
