Do not make a direct electrical connection to the strut. Instead use 4 x
.15 microfarad mylar capacitors to bridge a cut in the copper strap
connecting the strut to the antenna tuner. In that way no DC will flow
but a ground path for RF from the tuner will exist via the capacitors.
The cut only needs to be 1/8 inch across the copper strap. Without DC
flowing there will be no electrolysis issue created by the tuner.
