    The lines are copper tubing and very soft, During the whole installation I
    was scared of kinking them. I made the holes big enough (1 1/2") as not to
    make sharp turns. I had the advantage of re-doing our entire galley, so
    almost everything was(still is) pretty well open.

    Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. About installation: My only concern is
    drilling and feeding the lines from compressor to the plates. Not sure how I
    will be able to get at space behind current refrigerator. I only hope that I
    can find a spot close so that I do not have to "destroy" counter tops.
