I would like to add a small comment here. If you use the bounce option,
you can really mess up a lot of stuff. In addition, you will be
subscribing to every opt-in list that there is. The ideal thing to do is
    to simply delete the email.

My email server (which I run) will automatically drop all messages that
come from an illegal domain, or one which cannot be looked up. In
addition, I run spamassassin that will block out additional emails.
However, you cannot filter them all.

If you use an IMAP protocol for email, you will not need to worry about
downloading email. It simply provides you with a list of headers of
email, and you pick and choose which ones to download. Most ISP's will
    allow you to use IMAP.

If you want further info, please feel free to contact me.

    Sam
