A little off-topic, but a useful option for those who need to keep their
e-mail boxes super skinny because of connect time charges (or who are just
PO'd by SPAM). File it under cruising communications info.

We were gone 10 days and when I checked-in my e-mail account had 610
messages in it, all but 35 were SPAM. Unfortunately, the e-mail account is
tied to my website account, so it's not a simple matter of changing e-mail
providers. What's the fun of owning a domain name if you can't use it in
your e-mail? So because I own the master e-mail account for
mouseherder.com, any variation of addresses that ends in @mouseherder.com
(, for instance) shows up in my inbox--a spammers
    delight, I am.

Anyway, I have signed up for a 30-day trial of SpamArrest www.spamarrest.com
to see if I can get it under control. At $20 for six months, I'm hoping it
will put some joy back into sitting down at the computer again (excess SPAM
or fear of SPAM is my theory why activity on all the e-mail lists I
subscribe to is way down). If you want to test it to see how it works, send
me an e-mail directly to .

I'll let you know how it works out.
